We do not collect your data.

LAST UPDATED · 12 AUGUST 2026

This policy covers the Furio Guitar mobile app for iOS and Android, published by Furio Labs, and the website at guitar.furiolabs.ai.

The short version

Furio Guitar has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. It contains no networking code at all: the app cannot send anything anywhere, because there is nothing in it that talks to a network. Everything it does happens on your device.

We therefore collect no personal data — none of it linked to you, and none of it not linked to you. That is also what we declare on Apple's privacy nutrition label and Google Play's Data safety form.

The microphone

The tuner needs to hear your strings, so the app asks for microphone permission the first time you open it. iOS and Android will not grant that permission without you tapping Allow, and you can withdraw it at any time in your system settings. Every part of the app except the tuner works without it.

While the tuner is running, audio is read from the microphone and analysed in real time on your device to estimate the pitch you are playing. The audio is not recorded, not saved to a file, and not transmitted. Each moment of sound is measured and discarded; only the resulting number — how many cents sharp or flat the note is — is ever shown on screen, and it is gone when you leave the screen.

The app stops listening when you leave the tuner or send the app to the background. It never listens outside the tuner screen, and it has no background audio mode.

What stays on your device

Anything the app remembers for you — saved chord shapes in the Library, your practice minutes and streak on Today, your settings and your instrument choice — is stored only on your device. We never receive it, we cannot see it, and it is not backed up to any server of ours.

This content is app data like any other: it is included in your own device backups if you have those switched on with Apple or Google, and deleting the app deletes it. There is no way for us to recover it and no account to export it from.

Third parties

The app bundles no advertising, attribution or analytics SDKs. Its only third-party components are two open-source audio libraries — one for sound output, one for microphone input — which run entirely on the device and have no network access of their own.

Apple and Google run the stores the app is distributed through, and they collect their own data about downloads, purchases and crashes under their own privacy policies. If you opt in to sharing diagnostics with them, we may see aggregate, anonymous statistics through App Store Connect or the Play Console. That data comes from the store, not from anything inside the app, and it never identifies you to us.

Children

Furio Guitar is a general-audience music app. It is not directed to children under 13, and because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children either.

This website

guitar.furiolabs.ai is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no JavaScript, and carries no analytics or tracking pixels. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard server request data such as IP addresses in order to serve the page and protect it from abuse, as any web host does. We do not use that data to identify or profile visitors.

Your rights

Rights such as access, correction, deletion and portability apply to personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to hand over or erase. To remove everything the app has stored, delete the app from your device. If you would like this confirmed in writing, write to us.

Changes

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and move the date at the top before that version ships.
