Something not working?
LAST UPDATED · 12 AUGUST 2026Write to support@furiolabs.com and a human reads it. Furio Guitar is in beta and made by a small team, so give us a few working days.
What to tell us
Bug reports get fixed faster when they include enough to reproduce the problem:
- your device and OS version — iPhone 15, iOS 18.4, and so on;
- the app version, from the App Store or Play listing;
- which screen you were on: Fretboard, Tuner, Today or Library;
- what you tapped, what you expected, and what happened instead — for a wrong chord name or a wrong note, tell us the exact frets and strings;
- a screenshot, if the screen shows it.
The tuner is not hearing anything
The tuner needs microphone permission. If you declined the prompt, the app cannot ask again — grant it in your system settings, under the Furio Guitar entry, then reopen the tuner. Everything else in the app works without the microphone.
If permission is granted and the reading still will not settle: play one string at a time, let the note ring rather than damping it, and get away from fans, traffic and other instruments. The tuner deliberately runs with the system's noise suppression, echo cancellation and automatic gain turned off, because those filters eat the harmonics the pitch detector reads — that makes it accurate in a quiet room and jumpy in a loud one. Anything within ±5 cents is in tune.
There is no sound
Check the silent switch and the volume, and disconnect anything the audio might have routed to over Bluetooth. If another app is holding the audio session, close it and reopen Furio Guitar.
The metronome keeps running
That is deliberate. The tempo sits above the tabs and stays there while you move around the app, so you do not lose the click when you open a chord. Stop it from the same shelf you started it on.
I lost my saved shapes
Everything the app saves lives on your device only — there is no account and no cloud copy, because the app has no network access at all. If you deleted the app, or switched to a device without restoring a backup, that data is gone and we have no way to recover it. During the beta an update can also reset it; see the terms.
A chord or note name looks wrong
Some shapes have more than one defensible name, and the app picks the spelling that fits the key it thinks you are in. If you believe it is genuinely wrong, send us the exact frets and strings plus the name you expected — that is enough for us to reproduce it against the theory model.
Devices
Furio Guitar runs on iPhone and iPad, and on Android phones and tablets, for guitar and bass. The App Store and Google Play listings state the exact minimum OS version each build requires.
